1st Graders "All-About My Partner" Books at the Montbello Library 1st grade students practiced their non-fiction writing by pairing up together in class and co-writing a book with a partner- all about themselves, their families, favorite things, dreams, and hopes for the future. To illustrate the book, students worked with a local Harmony artist through the Integrated Global Arts Program at DCIS. Students worked with clay to make the faces of the people their partner admired most in their family. They also worked with paint and made dream catchers out of glue. A few of these books have been selected from each 1st grade class to be on display at the Montbello Public Library through April 7th. Students that go to the Libraryto see the books earn 10 Lion Bucks! Let us know you were there! 1. Bring back a new library card (parent signature required) 2.
